STRATEGY & STORYTELLING
"Breaking the Ice"
This is a feature article published on Working Draft magazine and written in Writer's Craft class about the barriers for women in para sports, and more specifically, women's para hockey, majorly based around Alyssa White.
"Worth from Waste"
I was the team lead during the "Worth From Waste" mock news conference for Public Relations class. The mock news conference announced a composting program at RRC Polytech in partnership with The Forks.

"Winnipeg Sea Bears, CEBL unveil 2025 season and championship weekend schedules"
During my internship with the Winnipeg Sea Bears, I wrote a news release announcing the 2025 championship weekend schedule and Winnipeg as the host for CEBL's 2025 Championship Weekend.
Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame 2024 Inductee Bios
During my job as Community Engagement Assistant with the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame, I wrote and helped with the 2024 inductee bios that went with the announcement of the Class of 2024. I worked on Jennifer Botterill, Brita Hall, and Dr. Sandra Kirby's bios.
CreComm 2025 Strategic Event Plan
I wrote a strategic event plan in Public Relations class for the CreComm 2025 event, which is an annual event and awards ceremony hosted by second-year PR students to celebrate the Creative Communications graduating class. This plan included an event concept, key publics overview, sponsor proposal, promotional plan, budget, and evaluation. I aimed to develop strategies increasing attendance, enhancing relationships with sponsors, and strengthening alumni/industry relationships.

Data Storytelling: Government Relations
I redid a guest speaker's presentation in Public Relations class about government relations and lobbying to better tell a story using data. I began researching statistics and created easy-to-read charts. I then created a storyline based on the key publics and wrote effectively engaging slides to represent the data while telling a story. A speaker from this class chose my presentation as one of the best in the class.
